The Springbank Single Malt Independent Bottling (IB) by High Spirits under the "Lochs and Castles of Scotland" Series (Edition No. 14, Cask #432) is a legendary Campbeltown rarity.

High Spirits was founded by the iconic Italian independent bottler Ferdinando "Nadi" Fiori—the famed owner of Osteria da Nando in Rimini, Italy. Alongside masters like Silvano Samaroli and Pepi Mongiardino, Fiori defined the golden age of Italian whisky importing. He was celebrated for selecting uncompromised single casks and matching them with evocative, fine-art labels.

It opens with rich, dark layers of blackcurrant jam, stewed plums, and rum-soaked raisins from the Port pipe. Right behind the fruit emerges Springbank’s signature industrial funk—diesel oil, damp dunnage earth, wet leather, and a sharp hit of coastal sea salt wrapped in a blanket of dry, herbal peat smoke.

The heavy red-fruit notes slowly recede to leave a lingering footprint of European oak spices, espresso grounds, and a final, satisfying echo of industrial Campbeltown smoke and sea spray.
