The Springbank Single Malt Independent Bottling (IB) by High Spirits under the "Natural Cask Strength Selection" Series (Ex-Port Cask #433) is a legendary bottle that represents a spectacular rarity in the whisky world.

High Spirits, founded by the iconic Italian independent bottler Ferdinando "Nadi" Fiori (the famed owner of Osteria da Nando in Rimini), is legendary for its meticulous cask selections. While Fiori is world-renowned for his artistic, fine-art labels like the Memories or Scottish Colourists series, the Natural Cask Strength Selection was his minimalist, purist series. It was designed to completely strips away the romantic packaging to focus entirely on the raw, unadulterated power of the single cask.

It opens with rich, jammy notes of blackcurrants, stewed plums, and dark dark cherries from the Port cask. Right behind the fruit is the unmistakable industrial fingerprint of Springbank: damp dunnage earth, diesel oil, old leather, and a sharp hit of coastal sea salt wrapped in a blanket of dry, herbal peat smoke.

The heavy red-fruit notes slowly yield to a drying finale of European oak spices, espresso grounds, and a final, lingering footprint of industrial Campbeltown smoke and sea spray.
