Tamnavulin distillery was completed and began production in 1966. This means the liquid in this bottle is from the very first year of production at the distillery. Historically, Tamnavulin added "-Glenlivet" to its name on independent labels to denote its geographic location near the River Livet. This bottle belongs to the First "The Birds" Series, released in 1988. 

Rich and aromatic with prominent notes of beeswax, potpourri, honey and warm buttered toast. It gives way to vibrant fruits like lemons, mango, pineapple and orange peel, rounded out by fresh herbs and nut shells.
