The Aberfeldy 19 Year Old "The Manager’s Dram" (Bottled October 1991) is widely considered by whisky critics and collectors to be one of the absolute greatest official expressions of Aberfeldy ever released. This bottle was never intended for commercial retail or public distribution; it was created purely as an internal reward system for the distillery workers and elite blending managers of the company.

It opens with dark leather, and roasted walnuts. Beneath the wood, it reveals thick layers of malt, heavy butterscotch, damp funky oak, and bitter dark orange marmalade.
