Released in October 2013 with a tiny run of just 6,000 bottles worldwide, Batch 1 of Bowmore’s "Devil’s Casks" is an iconic 10-year-old small-batch release. Matured exclusively in premier first-fill sherry casks and pulled straight at an intense cask strength of 56.9% ABV, this un-chill filtered dram represents the definitive peated sherry bomb.

The nose is a dense explosion of dark cherries, stewed plums, leather, and burnt toffee, cutting through a thick layer of earthy peat smoke. The palate is brilliantly chewy and oily, unleashing rich molasses, dark chocolate fruitcake, and heavy warming spices. The finish is remarkably long, trailing with sea-salt caramel and campfire smoke.
