"CONNOISSEURS CHOICE"

Released during the mid-to-late 1980s, this bottling captures Cragganmore spirit long before the distillery was formally designated as the Speyside representative in United Distillers' (Diageo) Classic Malts lineup in 1988.

It opens with rich notes of old floor wax, polished oak, and dried apricots, which slowly give way to chamomile tea, heather honey, and a very faint, rustic hint of dunnage earth and peat smoke. It leaves a lingering trail of toasted oak, white pepper, and a soft, resinous wood finish.
