Aberfeldy didn't launch its official, globally distributed single malt brand until 1999, this mid-1980s independent release by G&M was one of the very few ways connoisseurs of the era could experience old-school, standalone Aberfeldy.

It opens with old library dust, beeswax, and damp earth, immediately moving into Aberfeldy's signature note of heavy heather honeycomb. Faint whiffs of dried orange peel, herbal tea, and a subtle trace of antique furniture polish follow.
