Speyburn is traditionally recognized for its light, easy-drinking, and highly approachable core range. However, when the distillery team pulls a standalone barrel like Cask #1922 for a single-cask release, the profile shifts from a gentle Speyside standard to an unblended, highly concentrated, and deeply expressive showcase of the distillery's vintage liquid.

It opens with classic Speyside orchard fruits—ripe green apples, sliced pears, and lemon zest. As it sits in the glass, it develops a creamy vanilla custard sweetness, alongside notes of coconut shavings, white floral honey, and a hint of fresh pine or cut grass.

The fruit notes slowly fade into a creamy vanilla and drying cedarwood finale, leaving a lingering, crisp citrus oil tingle.
