DUFFTOWN - SINGLE MALT - 15YO "FLORA & FAUNA"

Flora & Fauna range launched by United Distillers (now Diageo) in the early 1990s, this bottling holds a unique status. Unlike most entries in the series that were bottled at 10 or 12 years old, Dufftown was granted a longer 15-year maturation. To reflect the local wildlife surrounding the distillery, its specific label features the Kingfisher, a vibrant river bird.

It opens notes of rich malted barley, sweet toffee, and dark honey are followed by dried orchard fruits (apples, figs) and a distinct, underlying herbal tea complexity. The sweetness fades gracefully into lingering European oak wood spice, dark cocoa, and a hint of dry, aromatic tobacco leaf.
