The inaugural release in Bowmore's highly exclusive "Mythical Guardians" collection, this 36-year-old expression was launched in 2019 uniquely for the Chinese market. Limited to a symbolic run of 888 bottles, the liquid was drawn from the historic parcel of Sherry casks used to formulate the legendary 1990s Sea Dragon decanter.

The nose is wonderfully opulent, delivering intense aromas of tropical fruit, toffee apple, caramelized orange, and subtle wax. The palate is thick and viscous, showcasing deep, elegant waves of dried dark fruits, roasted coffee beans, and rich dark chocolate balanced perfectly by ancient, soft dunnage peat smoke and coastal salinity.
