Instead, it focused entirely on a vibrant, heavy, cask-strength marriage of first-fill American oak bourbon wood, hand-selected from Bowmore's iconic maturation warehouses.

It hits immediately with a combination of crisp sea spray, ozone, and clean kiln smoke. As it warms, a massive wave of first-fill bourbon sweetness explodes—lemon sherbet, pineapple cubes, vanilla bean pods, salmiakki (Scandinavian salted liquorice), and a hint of shaved coconut.
