During the 1970s, it was quite rare for independent bottlers to print specific, ultra-high age statements like "25 Years Old" on everyday labels, as the concept of single malts was still emerging. G&M reserved this specific age designation for exceptionally well-matured, pristine casks. Because the spirit sat in wood for a quarter of a century, it represents a deep, concentrated look at post-WWII Scotch production.

On the palate, it expects robust, boasting heavy waves of dark chocolate, old rancio, espresso beans, leather, and dark balsamic fruits (black currants, prunes, raisins).
