Within Gordon & MacPhail’s historic "Old Brown Label" series from the early-to-mid 1980s, a 20-year age statement is an absolute crown jewel. G&M selected very specific, mid-century sibling vintages from Dalwhinnie to wear this quarter-century-adjacent age statement.

It opens with rich aromas of antique furniture wax, propolis, and dried heather honey. This slowly gives way to complex notes of overripe peaches, dried apricots, chamomile tea, and an underlying earthy trace of old dunnage warehouse peat smoke. It leaves a trailing, dry footprint of European oak tannins, dried mint, and a highly pleasant, lingering, sweet honey-wax film.
