It was selected and bottled exclusively to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of Whiskies & More, a highly respected premium spirits importer and distributor (most notably serving discerning connoisseurs in the Asian and European boutique markets). When an elite distributor celebrates a half-decade milestone, they work closely with independent houses like A.D. Rattray to hunt down a standout single cask that goes entirely against the grain of the distillery’s typical commercial profile.

It completely bypasses the standard light grassiness of young Speyburn, opening with notes of ripe orchard fruits - stewed pears, green apples, and lemon curd. Resting on a bed of warm vanilla pastry cream. As it breathes, complex notes of beeswax, white floral honey, and a hint of old dunnage warehouse musk begin to emerge.

The orchard fruit notes slowly dissolve into a drying finish of citrus peel, drying oak tannins, and a final, clean, and herbal tingle.
