Italian independent selections from the late 1980s through the early 2000s are globally revered for their flawless cask picking, and this release captures Laphroaig spirit in its absolute purest, most explosive state.

The spirit is incredibly viscous, waxy, and mouth-coating. It displays heavy, thick legs on the glass. It hits with a massive wave of pharmaceutical iodine, crisp sea salt, TCP ointment, and damp bandage gauze. This intense, medicinal structure is beautifully balanced by a distinct underlying sweetness of smoked lemons, green apples and white pepper.
