The Glenmorangie 10 Year Old "The Native Ross-Shire" (Natural Cask Strength) is an incredibly legendary, mythical relic from the distillery's history. Released in the early 1990s specifically for the Japanese market, it represents one of the earliest and most sought-after official cask-strength bottlings ever put out by Glenmorangie.

During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Glenmorangie experimented with limited-run, single-cask or small-batch cask-strength releases under "The Native Ross-Shire" title (celebrating the historic county in the Scottish Highlands where the distillery resides).

It blasts open with rich vanilla bean, thick clover honey, and toasted coconut flakes. Beneath the initial heat lies an absolute bounty of ripe yellow orchard fruits—apricots, stewed peaches—and a gentle, warm pastry note.

Exceptionally long, warming, and clean. The high alcohol preserves a lingering footprint of dry oak spice, vanilla paste, and sweet citrus rind.
