The Springbank Single Malt Independent Bottling (IB) by High Spirits under the "Memories" Series (Sherry Wood) is a highly prized, historic gem from the golden age of Italian whisky importing.

High Spirits was founded by the legendary Ferdinando "Nadi" Fiori—owner of the famous Osteria da Nando in Rimini, Italy. Alongside figures like Silvano Samaroli and Pepi Mongiardino, Fiori helped shape the global reputation of independent scotch curations. His bottles are celebrated for pairing uncompromised single-casks with deeply nostalgic, fine-art labels.

It opens with rich dark chocolate, rancio, leather, and dark muscovado sugar from the sherry cask. Immediately following is Springbank's unmistakable signature: machine oil, paraffin wax, damp earth, coastal brine, and a beautiful, gentle wispy peat smoke.

The rich sherry fruits slowly recede to leave a lingering footprint of European oak spices, antique furniture polish, and a final, dry puff of industrial Campbeltown smoke.
