    This spectacular 25-Year-Old expression was crafted by Diageo as the ultimate luxury tribute to celebrate Lagavulin’s 200th Anniversary (1816–2016). It is an incredibly historic bottling, honoring the generations of distillery managers who shaped the iconic Islay malt.
    It opens with rich rancio, antique polished mahogany wood, and dark chocolate-covered raisins. This is immediately met by a thick wave of old dunnage warehouse smoke, molasses, sea salt, dried figs, and a brilliant hint of fresh pine needle.
    The sweet sherry notes fade gracefully into a lingering trail of dry cocoa powder, warming peat ash, sea salt, and a refined oak spice.
