Founded by the visionary Nadi Fiori in Bologna (before he later established High Spirits), Intertrade operated during a brief golden window from the mid-1980s to the late 1980s. Fiori used Intertrade to fundamentally reshape how the world viewed Scotch whisky by bottling completely un-doctored, volcanic cask-strength masterpieces.

"Picnic Label" due to its gorgeous, pastoral front illustration depicting a 19th-century family enjoying an outdoor luncheon, it bears the series subtitle "The Cream of the Highlands."

It opens with an explosion of antique furniture wax, propolis, and unrefined farmyard heather honey. Gives overripe mangoes, dried pineapples, passionfruit syrup, and a highly complex, mechanical undercurrent of old ship diesel, camphor, and flinty limestone.
