The The Glenlivet 21 Year Old "Archive" is a highly revered, multi-award-winning official bottling (OB) from the iconic Speyside distillery.

The name "Archive" stems from the distillery's traditional practice of releasing this expression in small, bespoke batches selected from the finest inventory resting in their historic warehouse vaults. Rather than relying on a singular cask type, it utilizes a complex, meticulously structured marriage of seven distinct wood styles to create the ultimate expression of matured Speyside refinement.

It opens with an immediate wave of baked apple pie, warming cinnamon, and rich ginger. This unfolds into heavy notes of dried fruits (sultanas and dates), dark honey, and a beautiful undertone of polished oak and roasted walnuts.

The dark fruit sweetness slowly recedes, leaving a dry, elegant, and woody finish accented by toasted oak tannins and a final tingle of ginger spice.
