The The Glenlivet 7 Year Old (75 Proof) Bottled by Peter Thomson is an extraordinary, museum-grade Independent Bottling (IB) that dates back to the mid-20th century. This bottle is a prime artifact from the era when prominent Scottish wine and spirit merchants were granted access to prime distillery casks to bottle under their own reputable family labels.

It opens with intense notes of paraffin wax, beeswax, and damp floor-malted barley. As it sits, it reveals crisp orchard fruit (green apples, pear drops), intense heather honey, a touch of lemon oil, and a very faint, highly elegant undertone of dunnage-warehouse turf.

It leaves a lingering print of soft oak oils, lemon peel, and a final, dry puff of herbal ash.
