ARDBEG - SINGLE MALT 10YO

The Ardbeg 10 Year Old (Ardbeg Ten) is widely celebrated as the absolute benchmark flagship of heavily peated Islay single malt scotch.

It fills the room with crisp campfire smoke, coastal sea spray, and tarry ropes, which quickly give way to fresh lemon and lime zest, black pepper, and waxy dark chocolate. Underlying notes of smoked bacon, briny graphite, and a hint of vanilla sponge cake tie the bouquet together.

The heavy wood ash and peat smoke linger on the palate for minutes, accented by traces of tarry espresso, aniseed, and a fading note of fresh pear.
