This bottling from Glenrothes was distilled in 1978 in the old still-house and aged in specially selected sherry-seasoned and ex-bourbon casks for 40 years before being bottled in 2019 with only 594 bottles.
It gives note of rich orange oil, baked peaches, and candied apricot, elegantly framed by aromatic cedar wood, marzipan, and soft, polished antique oak. Sweet tobacco leaf, lingering Christmas spices, orange zest fragrance, and soft, dry oak tannins.
