The Tantalus Collection is famous not just for the liquid, but for its museum-grade presentation. The hand-blown crystal decanter is housed inside a custom-built wooden "Tantalus" locking frame handcrafted from the actual oak staves of Cask #13499 that held the whisky.

It opens with layers of rich beeswax, old mahogany desk polish, dried apricots, dark manuka honey, and soft, oxidized rancio notes characteristic of incredibly old Scotch.
