The Glenmorangie 1979 "Limited Bottling" is a highly regarded vintage release from the distillery's portfolio in the 1990s. This release captures the classic, uncompromised spirit of a pivotal distillation year just before the distillery underwent massive structural expansion.

It bursts with aromas of ripe yellow orchard fruits (apricots and Bartlett pears), wild honey, and vanilla bean, anchored by a distinct nutty backdrop of toasted almonds and wax candles.

Clean, crisp, and elegantly dry. The fruit sugars slowly fade into lingering notes of orange pith, toasted oak tannins.
