"The Costumes" collection is an iconic, highly limited 12-bottle thematic suite (comprising 11 single malts and 1 single grain). The labels are widely celebrated for featuring meticulously detailed 18th-century period-clothing fashion prints, which Mongiardino discovered in the historical pages of an antique German encyclopedia.

It opens with rich aromas of honeyed paraffin wax, old dunnage warehouse dust, and polished cedar wood. As it breathes in the glass, it unfurls into a beautiful web of overripe orchard fruits—baked apples, dried pears, lemon oil, dried mint leaves, and a touch of antique leather bookbinding.

It leaves a trailing, persistent footprint of drying European oak tannins, white tea, and a beautifully pleasant, lingering coating of waxy lemon oil.
