Within the history of the Connoisseurs Choice range, a 25-year age statement was remarkably rare. G&M selected two primary sibling vintages from Glendronach to wear this specific quarter-century age statement on the classic textured brown paper label: the 1955 Vintage and the 1960 Vintage.

It opens with dense layers of antique floor wax, library leather books, polished mahogany wood, and unrefined molasses. This is backed by dark cocoa nibs, balsamic glaze, and a classic, old-school sherry rancio note (dried porcini mushrooms, walnut hulls). It leaves a heavy, satisfying imprint of European oak wood tannins, bitter dark chocolate flakes, and lingering, sweet tobacco leaf.
