    Bottled in the late 1980s for the ultra-discerning Italian export market via the premium distributor Meregalli, this expression stands out starkly from other vintage Scapa bottlings due to its monstrously high natural cask strength.
    It gives sharp notes of paraffin wax, flint, and machine oils, which slowly peel back to reveal a dense, sweet foundation of Orcadian heather honey, beeswax candles, dried orange peels, and a pinch of sea salt.
